My journey with Maví began with a childhood memory. Growing up with strong ties to the Dominican Republic, I remembered drinking Maví — a refreshing, delicious Caribbean beverage that left a lasting impression on me.

Years later, that memory came back, and I decided to try making it at home.I began researching traditional Maví, which is brewed from the bark of the Colubrina elliptica tree, also known as maví bark. This plant has been used for generations throughout the Caribbean and is often prepared with spices like cloves, cinnamon, bay leaves, and orange peel.

After many experiments, I created a blend I truly loved. I started drinking it regularly and noticed I felt more energized, clear, and balanced. Over time, I adjusted the recipe and my routine until I found what worked best for me.

My experience with Maví has been deeply meaningful. While everyone’s body is different and I cannot promise the same results for others, this traditional drink became an important part of my wellness journey. What began as a nostalgic attempt to recreate a childhood favorite became the inspiration for the Kurxia's Mavi juice. I created it so others could easily enjoy this traditional Caribbean treasure at home.I hope it brings you the same joy, connection, and appreciation for tradition that it has brought me.
